Cresta De Gallo

Beautiful sandbar, crystal clear water, scenic skyline, etc, that is how I describe Cresta De Gallo, a beautiful islet near the island of Sibuyan, Romblon.

HOW TO GET THERE
In order to get to Cresta De Gallo, you have to really prepare for it, like bring a sunblock (which I didn’t do) and I ended up having sunburn all over my face and body. You have to bring shades and umbrella or something to cover the searing heat of the sun. You will be thirsty a lot for there is no drinking water that can be found in this remote island so don’t forget to bring water as well as food.
Cresta De Gallo is a few kilometers off the coast of San Fernando in Sibuyan Romblon. To get there, you have to take a Roro, which is the main transportation here used by the local. Then hop to another Roro (Querubin) to Sibuyan. Now that you reach Sibuyan, ride on a jeepney or any transportation that would be your vehicle to get to San Fernando, then a tricycle to Azagra, which is the jump-off point to Cresta De Gallo then rent  boat (round trip) which is also available in Azagra, price range from 1-2k. This travel and the price is really worth it, you will be amazed when you get there.
