ALLIED MOVIE REVIEW

serendipityisokay.blogspot.com

SPOILERS! DON’T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED IT YET.
I missed Brad Pitt so much which is why  watching this new movie of his which is entitled “ALLIED” kind of reminds me of him and Angelina Jolie in the movie Mr and Mrs Smith. if compared between the two, I liked Mr and Mrs Smith more because it is more packed with action and they’re just chillin while killing people (they are so cool).
Anyway, about this new movie, if you wanted suspense, thriller, romance and a bit of paranoia then this movie would be great for you, throughout the entire movie, I’m always thinking, is she really a german spy? Most of it is 50-50, and when I learned that she is, my reaction is kinda yikes! It’s true, I thought I was going crazy! Whew movie nowadays, they really wanted you to be damn, trying to lure your brain of something crazies.
This movie grossed $112 million worldwide (wow!). It received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design.
During World War II, dated 1942, Royal Canadian Airforce intelligence office Max Vatan (Brad Pitt) travels to Casablanca in French Morocco to assassinate the German Ambassador. He is partnerered with a French Resistance fighter named Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard).
The two pose as a married couple and grew closer (proximity at it’s best!) despite agreeing that in their line of work feelings can get people killed (I’m telling you people this setup is not a really good idea) then this is where the plot thickens when they become a real couple.
Even though, Brad Pitt is getting older, he still looks hunky and hot (oh, give me cold water). They have great chemistry with the beautiful Marion Cotillard. The language at the opening of the movie which is french made goosebumps all over my body and there I was, trying hard to imitate their frenchiness (I watched it alone so I’m laughing with myself).
For Marion, great actress, she have the beauty, body and intelligence (such a high standard for a movie LOL), I can’t believe that she became a housekeeper in this movie, she looked so cool when she’s killing people, yet she chose to stay at home mom, just waiting for her husband to come home (why do boys have all the fun? It’s so unfair).
The director behind this movie is the legendary Robert Zemeckis, remember the movie Forrest Gump? Cast Away? Yeah, he directed those too, so expect some twisted plot in this movie, you’ll love it.
I’m basically crying when it came to the ending, I just can’t watched it again (this movie is also a tragedy, so bring a tissue). I can’t believe that she died in the end (I’m the saddest human being). Whenever I think of it I can’t help but contemplate that there should be another way (this is the planes fault, it won’t start! LOL). That’s why she killed herself, and my heart just shattered to pieces. Me writing this review makes me emotional again, and I have to watch a funny movie to get over it.
So to you, who wanted this kind of genre. Please watched ALLIED and comment your reactions down below and let me know what you think.

VIVO V5 REVIEW

Trying to understand what is VIVO V5 and it’s function from a regular smart phone user? Then this review is for you. I’m just posting it in my own experience with VIVO V5 to help you and other user who are struggling in buying or choosing a smart phone. I hope this helps.
Me and my boyfriend when we bought VIVO V5
We all love selfies, we can’t help but take photo everything we go and everything we do, which is why with great demand comes great responsibility in choosing the best smart phone. I love photography, so for me having a smart phone is a must.
With the advent of technology specifically smart phones which are ubiquitous  (can be seen everywhere) nowadays in our society, we cannot help but follow the crowd/many. We all want to participate in this  game of smart phones. I’m a millineal and really love techonolgy, I have keen interests when it comes to new gadgets. I love how innovative people are, and I love  trying new ideas.
There are plenty of advantages as well as disadvantages in having a smart phone. As a student it’s really helpful to me when it comes to research but serves as distractions whenever I have important tasks to finish because I usually browse my facebook, 9gag, instagram and other social apps. It’s really hard not to get hooked, it’s like this friend of yours who won’t stop entertaining you. So I made a promise to myself that every task at hand, I should be finish it first, then I get my reward which is to finally browse my fb and stuff. Sometimes it works and sometimes not, it usually depend on yourself on how you’re going to control the urge to look or not to look at you phone.

On December, I bought a new phone known as Vivo V5, it’s so fresh in the market. I was torn between Vivo V5 or Oppo F1s, at first my choice is Oppo F1s (selfie expert) because I always see it in the commercial with Sarah Geronimo as the lead endorser, but as I’m about to buy it, my boyfriend told me about this new smart phone which is Vivo V5. He said that it has  great specs, so we went to the stall of VIVO V5 and I was blown away with it’s function.

I browse the internet for comparison of the two phone, and they are almost the same, the price etc, except for the camera for VIVO V5 is much greater (20 mp front and 13 rear) and  internal memory  (4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM). Stephen Curry is the endorser of this brand, I've been using it for 4 months now, and so far, It’s working fine and perfect.
FRONT CAMERA (2O MP)

REAR (13 MP)
I’ve really enjoyed the great quality of the camera in front and back, the beauty effect is superb, my sister said that It’s like the editing tool used for a graduation pic (do you agree?).

My favorite function is the SUPER SAVER and THE EYE PROTECTION. The VIVO V5 battery diminished quickly and so THE SUPER SAVER function saves the day. I used it before sleeping, when you click the SUPER SAVER, you cannot open your apps except for the 4 important one (clock, contacts, phone, messages) in that way only small percentage can be taken to the battery life of your phone.
Then the EYE PROTECTION, I love browsing apps as I’m about to sleep, so to protect my eye I usually click this button. I don’t know if it’s really that helpful but it says EYE PROTECTION so I clicked it.

This camera is also great for editing purposes. I typically used SNAPSEED APP for this picture.
Somehow this jump shot failed me, it’s because of the blurry picture that I somehow don’t know the reason why.
This second jump shot is perfect, and I don’t know what happen to the first jump shot, my conclusion is that during nighttime/kinda dark it usually become blurry when I’m taking this kind of shot.
                                                                       yep grad pix it is
no need for make up :) LOL
                                                                  with macro lens
great for swimming,, oops it's not waterproof be careful!

                                                                    this is edited

Hangaroo Kangaroo Jack

One of my favorite leisure is eating in particular trying a new cuisine which is why during our visit in SM NORTH, we stumbled upon this restaurant called “Kangaroo Jack” and decided to try it for the first time. It offers mostly American dishes that makes your mouth water and will be different to your eating experience.

My Order

The place is well lighted, lively, cozy and has an amazing appeal.

The service is great, it was fast and the crew are accommodating and always tending to our needs. As we eat our food, I jokingly said that, “Are they serving Kangaroo in here?” My sister talked back, “Is that even a joke?” with a small smile. I knew that my joke is corny but as I tasted my platter, I cannot explain how delectable it is. My 250 pesos of food is really worth it. Baby Back Ribs is tender and juicy, sweet and delicate. I was hungry that time, so the food really filled up my hungry stomach. I would surely go back to this place.
And that my friend is how you finish your Baby Back Ribs meal!
Adios!
