            How many bottles of glass did you break? Mines too many to mention.

We all aim for perfection; I mean who wouldn’t want to be perfect?

            When I watched the “Kitchen Nightmares” with Gordon Ramsay and what he did with those foods and how he talked to the cook. That is when I realized that Gordon Ramsay is an example of “perfectionist”. At some point in our lives, we all want to be perfect, perfect in everything we do, perfect in every way, nothing to blame because we are perfect but that won’t happen. Yes, we all have our own flaws, we have them and sometimes when we really try to hide it, somehow it always shows up. My little flaw, is that I’m clumsy, I sometimes make tons of mistakes in one day. And I hated myself for that, somehow my mind works in a different way.

            I tried reflecting that overthinking and anxiety is bad for me, but this bad thinking of mind won’t go away. I should have accepted it from the start. My little advice for myself? I prefer excellence over perfection.

           Let’s talk first about social media, I know that this article is a little short for this discussion but I’m just going to have to cut it to the topic that somehow I want to emphasize. Everything that I say are my own opinion. I happen to write about it because of what I’ve observed in our society.

            We live in a world now where having a social media becomes the new norm. Gone are the days of hardship in order to make friends, acquaintance, because we can have friends just by a click of a button. I’ve read and watched people found love because of social media. You can stalk people whom you don’t know and you can easily and instantly know the news from all around the world. Isn’t it amazing to connect, and to know this kind of information?

            The social media is a great entertainment, be it children, teenager or even adult. And because we are an individual who loves connecting to other, after all “no, man is island” now becomes a figure of speech. If you don’t have social media, It’s like you will feel being alone.

            When social Media spreaded like wildfire, the economy rises, business boomed, many people became famous, many talents had been seen which means that there are a lot of advantages of Social media, it’s pretty clear. Although that there are a lot of advantages, let’s now move on to the disadvantages. Ever hear the saying “we have to disconnect in order to connect” somehow this saying is pretty much everywhere. It’s because of the abuse of this power, we became procrastinator, we love being entertained and so when we lost just for a day, we are being pulled again by it.

            Life has been truly interesting, efficient, fun in this millennium where internet and social media prevails. I got addicted with photography, internet and anything that the millennials do. Yet somehow I missed the old age where everything is to be done by you with great effort. If there is nothing to do, I felt so weak, I really need to challenge myself.

            Somehow when I wake up instead of exercising, I readily look for my phone and check for notifications on facebook, it’s really a bad habit because, somehow when you start opening your facebook, you can’t get out immediately, it’s like you’re really hooked in it. It’s bad, I hated it, but somehow I seemed to like it. My mind is really battling out on what to do. I really do want to change, I wanted to create something productive and useful instead of using facebook all day.

            But this social media, we can have business with it, many teenagers, youth or even children used this and make a lot of money. By showing their talent, skills, hobby, and anything that they like to do. The internet is really a strange place to be.

I read a lot! so i gathered here some paragraphs that inspires me.

1. Introverts prefer to work independently, and solitude can be a catalyst to innovation.

As the influential Hans Eysenck once observed, introversion “concentrates the mind on the tasks in hand, and prevents the dissipation of energy on social and sexual matters unrelated to work.” In other words, if you’re in the backyard sitting under a tree while everyone else is clinking glasses on the patio, you’re more likely to have an apple fall on your head. (Newton was one of the world’s great introverts. William Wordsworth described him as “A mind forever/voyaging through strange season of thoughts alone.

3. No one would choose this sort of painful adolescence, but the fact is that solitude of Woz’s teens, and the single-minded focus on what would turn out to be a lifelong passion, is typical for highly creative people.

Even the considerably more cheerful Theodor Geisel (otherwise known as Dr. Seuss) spent his workdays ensconced in his private studio, the walls lined with sketches and drawings, in a bell-tower outside his La Jolla, California, house. Geisel was a much more quiet man that his jocular rhymes suggest.

5. Most inventors and engineers i’ve met are like me – they’re shy and they live on their heads. They’re almost like artists. In fact, the very best of them are artists. 6. If you frequently don’t feel secure, you’re insecure.

7. If the journalists told it how it really was then nobody would buy their newspaper. If they told you that Victoria Beckham is actually a really good laugh with a great sense of humor then no one would be interested. She is, but people are more interested in hearing made-up stories about the girls being at war and how Victoria keeps herself to herself. Those are the stories people want to read, not the boring truth

8. The pictures in the newspapers tell you nothing. Until you actually speak to someone you’ll never know what they’re about. It’s the same being the partner of a footballer. Unless you’ve been there you can’t know what the life is truly is.

9. My philosophy on beauty is that if you practice the basics now and then you’ll reap the benefits in the long run.

10. Pride. A root of insecurity if there ever was one. We will never feel better about ourselves. Likewise, we will never feel better about ourselve by feeling worse about others. Superiority can’t give birth to security. Neither, by the way, can the relentless pursuit of perfection.
